I have a heater but it's not good enough it's like 74 in my house and it's struggling to keep it above room temp. The lights are saving me about 130W an hour so I calculate about 40kW a month. So at .10 kW/h that's only $4 a month.

So far so good haven't noticed any change in the corals. I have the 20k over the sps and the 15k over the zoos and lps. The tank under the mh was about 80.5 now it's 77.4 without fans.

Nice set up. How are the corals reacting? Do you have any drip loops at the end of those cords? Just in case.

How's the heat issue? Does the bulb get hot?

So some updates. Finally not busy at work for a little while but working on my business but I can do that at home. So I hooked up my new LEDs. Thai still waiting on your call fool. Anyways I also picked up a new clownfish and Bi-color angel. The colors under the new lights are so much better than the MH. I had a 20K MH bulb and the LEDs are a 20K and a 15K equivalent. But they are much bluer.

    Before with the MH

    After with LEDs

Got the LEDs in. Come get yours Thai. I guess I am going to have to turn the light time down a bit to make sure I don't burn out the corals.

nope she tried but she was not able to breath for too long I had to take apart my rock work to get her out because she swam behind it all so at 30 minute WC turned into a 2 hr ordeal. Now her boyfriend is going to be lonely.

So my corals are starting to come back. But while doing a WC the clown that likes to attack me decided to attack the hose at the right time and went into the tube. I tried to free him but couldn't fast enough.

keep the water changes till better. I have a buddy that has had chemicals get in to the tank off his skin and his duncans, lobo, and zoas started turning white. They did fine after a few water changes.
