    Those corals will grow fast for you under that light and with the feeding.

    I use the zooplex. I tank feed 2 a week and target feed 1 a week or so.

    The candy cane has tentacles too. Should come out at night. Try to feed it some chopped up sliversides. Should help it recover faster.

    it will produce some layers of things that cover the other coral...and the next thing you see is that the part that the acan covers...it is gone...
    but as long as it is not touching with another coral...then it is ok...

    I put that thing as close to the light as possible figured it would either burn or live. So it looks like it chose the latter.

    The only thing close to it is the plate coral and I think it would win if they got into a fight. I never new the acan had tentacles until the other night. At night it sends out arms from its center I presume to catch its food that drifts by.
