I think I am going to end up getting an Ice Probe for this tank it is getting to hot during the day and with summer coming the house will be hot. It will be cheaper on electricity to pay for the cooler and its electricity instead of running the AC when i am not home.

I was out of town for the week and came home to a dead or almost dead Acan. It had been looking drab not like it did at the store so I moved it up closer to the lights and when I got home today it is almost all white everything else seem to be doing fine though so not sure what its deal is

My mandrian dose the same thing. I rarely see him but it did seem like one day all the pods were gone. I buy a bottle of pods from cp 1/month and use a turkey baseter to shoot them into the rock at about 2 hours after lights out. Seems to be doing the job.

You got that fish eating anything other than pods?

Not sure I see him pecking at things but he never comes out for feeding time. It doesnt even look like he has put a dent in the pod population at all they are still every where.
