Just an update, mine are eating! I tried what many people on here said to do and crushed up the flakes into even smaller pieces (almost powdery) and it worked. I currently have my 10 in a fluval edge with 2 long finned abn plecos, 1 oto, and way too many shrimp to count.

my brigittae now school more with just going from a group of 10 to 20. no predator needed i just make faces at them. the cpd are interesting in that they make sure that they put plants and driftwood between you and them. i had to pull plants out yesterday just to count them so i could make sure that they were doing well. they are coloring up already but i dont see them eat much since they seem to be midwater swimmers and if they are eating they dont le me see them doing so
