The first second massive batch I got from tim along with this groupbuy I threw into my tank and it was still going through bacteria blooms and getting daily 50%+ water changes.
These guys a little more robust then given credit for.

True. It was my understanding that he was losing fish at all times of day. If the ammonia/nitrite/nitrate are out of whack, it doesn't matter too much what the O2 levels are... the fish are going to be dying anyway.Originally posted by eklikewhoa View PostThis would show if the o2 levels are dropping radically

35% may be too much of a shift in water parameters for them, i am doing only 20% on smaller aquaria. I have 20 and have lost none. I think that I might have 2 merah in there but they still havent colored up enough for me to tell. i am going to lower the pH slowly to see if that helps. is the common name for b.merah exclamation mark fish? i still have a couple that need to fill out but they act healthy. on the other hand the galaxies are coloring and filling out well.

Check your pH/GH/KH during midday/mid photoperiod and then again after a few hours of darkness.

How are the water parameters? If your ammonia or nitrite spiked, or even your nitrate, that's probably the issue. Boraras are pretty sensitive to water quality and do the best in seasoned tanks. Check your parameters and keep us posted!Originally posted by Tanknoob View PostYeah... So they are in a new cycled 20 long HC floor. No other tank mates. No co2.

Kiko lost some fish too ( his 2217 on his 5.5 gallon tank may have been the cause of the problem there).Originally posted by Tanknoob View PostAm I the only one losing fish ??? The waters perfect and yet I'm still losing fish ...
You put bororas in a new tank that never had any other fish, correct?

Agree there's something wrong, I acclimate for about 5mins and just net them all into the tank and even with my oxygen deprivation at night I haven't noticed any dead or diminishing numbers.
