good to know that they do well with rams, i was thinking that they may eventually end up with my GBR colony
-
MY CPDs are also doing well, dropped mine in a 30 with a trio of bolivian rams. I don't have to target feed them as they end up scavenging the bits of food that float out when my Rams are munching on pellets.
pH is 7.2, temp is 75F. I think the more plant cover the better for these, mine seem pretty active. They are definitely not a schooling fish though. Going to try and breed some since I hear they are pretty easy to breed!

Apparently they can handle even colder, some are keeping them at 65f

they are all fine, no losses as far as i can tell. they move too fast too count and the dang galaxy rasboras are adept at keeping the driftwood between you and them. still not coloring up too intensly but i am slowly lowering pH

mine are currently in an unheated tank and they do well. it dropped to maybe 68 a couple nights ago. it could be a combination of stressors and the temp was the final straw though

I have mine with my crs and the tank is more for the inverts so the water params are set for them.

How cold does you room/house get? I have my tank sitting at 72 and they're fine.

So it was too cold/hot or was it actually shorted and electrocuting them?
