Re: Mainstream media yawns as Kucinich offers impeachment
One thing I hate that a lot of politicians are doing is everyone wants to pretend they are helping the average citizens by bailing out the banking industry and people who could not afford their homes for the mortgage snafu. (As a side note I my mothers home was forclosed on but not because she couldnt afford) But they are not helping America any bail out would only worsen the situation and take my hard earned money out of my hands in the form of taxes to be able to fund the bail out. The banks should not be rewarded for offering loans to people they knew couldnt afford it and people should not be compensated for not reading the term of their loans and want a hand out. I think the government should do nothing and let our capitalist country correct the problem on its own and stop pretending like they are helping the country. This is a problem on both sides of the isle. One that I have seen that does not want this is McCain. I am a conservative if you could not tell, but I like Tgwinn stated am not a Kool-aid drinker who ever believes closest to me I will support. But something needs to be done about how the banks bend us over (my previous words were I guess bad so they edited it) every day in this country other nations do not allow it and it shouldnt be because they hold the money. I am in favor of interest rates because they are a business and need to make a profit. I object to rates of more than single digits and fees that they mysteriously come up with. Overdraft fees, Origination fees, and all FY fees (to edit myself).
