Okay, i was just curious. I have to admit, my cabinets do get dusty.

I can't wait to see you get the tank set up. I'll probably never be able to have such a huge tank so I'll be living vicariously through you on this one!

I have had to wait very patiently to finally get one. One day though I will have a 1000 gallon. But that for now will have to wait. You'll find a way to get a big tank. The bigger issue is where to put it!

Awesome Barrett That thing is a monster.

I don't know if you have all your holey rock or not, but when I was down at NEPCO they had more than I've ever seen in one place. 20 pallets at least.

I think everyone has plans of going bigger and bigger (I've learned so much about what I would want in my next tank), and then eventually ends up with a nano .

Access is truely a ***** with my current stand, so I second Complexity on the closed back. I understand your tumbleweed dilemma - had Aussies growing up - and it probably wont be an issue assuming you dont have to make many modifications, but if you can open it up a bit I bet you'll save yourself some stress later on. Tough to tell from the pics, but it does not appear to be load bearing?

Whatever you decide, I'm sure it will rock. Keep us posted!

That's is the issue for me. I'd want it to be where I could see it all day long, and there's just no room for a tank that big in my family room.

Although, I'm dreaming of having a tank in my office when I become a therapist. It probably won't be a huge 300 gallon, but I might be able to get something bigger than my current 90g. I can have it maintained professionally and write it off as a business expense. Then it won't matter if the tank is too big for me to manage all by myself!

That's my fun situation now! I have to move my entire house around for this one. But it's gonna all be for the better.

Sweet I'm sure I need therapy! And I know a tank will help your patients.

Well, I figure even if the tank doesn't help my patients, it'll help me! LOL!

The stand looks really good! I can't wait until you can put it all together. What are you planning to put in the tank? Any idea when you might be able to fill it up for the first time?

That's all gonna depend on when I get it back (the tank), and how fast I can get my 150 moved to the dinning room, fish transferred to other aquariums and the house completely moved around. I'm hopeing if I am lucky it will be the beginning of December. All of my mbuna from my 150 and my 50 gallon aquariums will call this home. Along with 4 clown loaches and a 12" giraffe catfish. My 150 will then become the new fahaka puffer aquarium, the 72 will be made ready for tropheus, the 50 gallon that I just got will be sold. So there's alot to do. But I will end up probably taking off 2 days to try and get it all done, hopefully next Thursday and Friday. If luck is on my side it won't be any later than the first week in December. But I'm really having to learn patients on this process.

Sounds like a game of musical chairs, only with tanks! You have your hands full with a lot of tank moving, but it'll be so worth it when you get it all done.

Man slow going progress on this thing so far, but its about to pick up pretty heavily. Ill be taking off Thursday and Friday, just to ove my house around and get thing setup and ready. Moving my 150 gallon out of the way today. I have already picked up a wet/dry drop in box and a 60 gallon aquarium to use as the sump. Pick up a mag 12, this weekend. The tank I think should be home this weekend. All the Holey rock im planning on using, is currently soaking in bleach water. However I havent completly decided wether im gonna use it or use the black star rock. I will pick up probably 200 lbs of leslies pool filter sand between tomorrow and friday. The 2260"s Will get cleaned thursday or friday, while im off. The only other thing to really hunt for is the egg crate which is usually pretty easy to find at hom depot.

Sounds like you have things well planned out. Just think of how nice it'll all be once you get all the tanks in place with the fish in their corresponding tank. Then you can sit back and really enjoy all your hard work!
