If I ever feel the need to get rid of them again after putting more money/Ilangi's in the group I think I will just cook them up and eat them.

    Ever had a $15k Asian Arowana?  8)

Well that is great news and terrible news.   The good is that you are keeping them and I wont have to worry with the temptation of trying to buy those. The bad is that the colony will be bigger and a day will come again when you are ready  to let go of these guys.  I hope that I have settled down at that point with the colonies I am building so that I have no room.

Anyway. glad to her that you are keeping them and that you have the support of your girl.

Well....I think deep down inside she knows....

The Ilangi's don't talk back and when I get bored of them I can either sell or thump them....I tried thumping her but the mouth keeps running.

So the love of my life has told me she was glad to hear that I decided on keeping my Ilangi's.....

She even went as far as to remind me the trouble I went through for these guys and how much hell I have put her through because of them so she fells that I have made a good choice.....wonder how she's gonna feel about me doubling the colony size

I bring them randomly to the meetings for the raffle but honestly right now there doesn't seem to be a good lead on any.

They work for me but in the Ilangi tank I have pulled just about all of them and that tank has very good lighting to promote the algae growth so they have a hard time keeping up. They work wonders though!

the snails are actually saltwater snails converted to fresh..they will lay eggs but will not reproduce in freshwater..

You mentioned Nerite snails. Do these realy work? I see some  of the pictures of your tank very clean but how do they compare to a bristlenose pleco?  Also since they are snails, do the reproduce and just take over the tank filters and everything. I had some a while back and it seemed like there were 100s in just a week.  Not sure if these were nerite or not that I had. Jsut know that they overtook everything.

I am tired of fiddling with the camera.......it took me the best of an hour to figure out why it would not snap a picture when I pressed the button to tell it to.....

Then there was the sorting through about 700 pictures to get what you see above.......my eyes hurt, I have missed work for two days now, allergies got the best of me somehow/somewhere and my eyes are busted looking   The fiance stayed home and took me to the eye doctor.

Looks like kharma is a bizznatch, I have a hole in the back of my eye.....possibly from exposure to fowl.....funny the optometrist(fiance close friend) mentioned that cause I raised and fought game all up through high school.
