And here is a good video showing how the 2 different species swim, petros on top and tropheus below. I think its BC the petros are always hungry and want to be first to the food lol.

They seem to really like the right side pile-o-rocks huh?

I probably spooked them somehow and they were all on that side of the tank.

Carbon bottle made a huge difference, fish weren't even affected by a 100% wc. Still filling it with water and they are trying to eat algae off the glass...

Thanks! This is my second tropheus colony, I've been wanting to get back into it for sometime now. I should be getting a carbon bottle here pretty soon, hopefully it'll help me get these breeding. Probably hang my metal halide up this weekend, make the tank pop more.
