Total Petro Rainbow Macro fry from this tank=15

I just pulled out 5 petro fry that were spit a little early during a water change today. they still got their egg sacks on them. I guess the others didnt make it or are still being held???

how come you went bare bottom? that was one of the most gorgeous tanks IMO before you took the sand out

came home from work today and found the Rainbow Macro's dancing again...I dont see a huge hump in her mouth, but it is weird that they would choose now cause there literally is like 100 fish in the tank right now.

two or three of those females didnt hold their eggs all the way...prolly just not quite ready yet. the two females holding now are more mature females. should get some good fry from these two. I probably wont get into the tank again for fry until I get ready to move which is on Feb. 24th.

pulled out 18 small fry from these guys about 4 days ago. wanted to make sure all were healthy before posting. all are doing great and eating NLS grow at the moment. brings my fry tank to 29 swimming away and growing out. these are all claimed but there will be more, as I got two more females holding now, so let me know if you are interested in some fine Tropheus Chimba for your tanks!!!

**Update** Total Chimba Fry from this tank= 41

Just pulled out 4 fry from this tank. these guys are small!!! I think the mother spit on accident...not sure which female they came from though. A BUNCH of my smaller females are getting large enough to compete for a male so I have like 6 of my smaller females holding. Could just be a bunch of small batches I guess. These guys are now in the growout tank with the previous 7 fry spit. The last fry were spit 11/25 so they arent too much bigger than these guys.
