Randall, these fish were aweseome fishes.

You are doing a great job with them. It is VERY uncommon for people to keep Petro's, even more uncommon for them to get established colonies of them.

Once you get those extra females, if not already, your going to have Petro Crazy fry for sale..

    I cannot wait!!!

Just got finished properly venting these petros with the help of Geoff...he actually did all the venting. The results are as follows...

    Total Males--4--different sizes, 9.25", 6.50",6.00", 6.75"

    Total Females--7--different sizes, 6.25",6.00",6.00",5.50",7.00",6.875",6.50"

Total Maybe's--1--size, 7.00"(looks closer to female than male, but it was a close one)

Again, thanks Geoff for coming over to help me out with this. I will be adding 3...maybe 6, more females to this group after the beginning of the year, given that they are still available.

right...I try and feed them 3x daily...thats plenty! I have seen the petros shake and bake like one time...I think the largest male is too big to really produce well...so Im thinking about selling him, so that one of the smaller males can step up.

Finally got some kind of picture or video posted!

Seems like the fishes are doing really good man. It's always good to see them schooling back and forth like that for food!

    Any petro breeding action?
