    If you want a simple small reef that's really inclusive, then try looking into the AIO (all in one) tanks like JBJ nano cube and the like.

    Most come with 3 cambers in the back for you to set-up the proper filtration.

    I had a JBJ 12g nano but sold it. Something about those curved edges I didn't like. But most people a big fan of them.

    Really, i didnt know yellow polyps stung... Those are so hardy and fast growing, great for filling in holes, cause you can get huge chunks cheap. I like those in high flow tanks with their sweeping skirts. Sad thing is i never had any luck with them, fact i think i am the only one who could kill them in a tank lol... As far as covering that over flow box i would put a good sized frag of some pink birds nest on a rock with magnet and let it cover it. Kinda growing out towards the center. I think it would look nice when you have some sps colonies grow in and fill up space. Dang now i am getting ideas, i should have never read your thread my wife is gonna kill me lmao....
