Kirksey is saying the triggers will pick on the lion
My buddy had a picasso trigger and lionfish, and the trigger killed it by picking the spines off the lionfish. I've had them together without issue (Odonus niger with fuzzy dwarf lionfish), but he had a bad experience. You said no to triggers, so that won't be an issue.
So, with the lionfish, are you going with the red volitans or black volitans?
I'd love to keep a lionfish again. You mentioned not liking the fu manchu, but I've always liked the dwarf species (despite almost got tagged one day, they blend into the rocks so well). I've always wanted a radiata (non-dwarf species), too.
So here is the updated pics. I made it a little taller. I didnt like it to tall. Sorry for the haziness stirred up the sand a bit moving rocks.

Equipment 2 MP40W on the left side of the tank. Two Koralia 4 attached to the overflow box. Coralife light for the fuge, 2 Iwaki pumps one for the return and one for the PM skimmer.
What do you mean bare LR? I don't think my pics do it justice there are a lot of cool caves, pass throughs, and ledges. Thai come do some glamour shots on my tank.
