I thought about the spot light idea. I would need to get rid of the current light set up but not sure I may do super light corals like zoas, shrooms, anemone, and etc. Stuff that dont need a lot of light. The current T12s are pretty bright all the way down. Yeah those chromis look like ants in this thing. We will see if they can survive the big boys. They will have to become rock dwellers in a hurry.

Well the tang likes Nori. He was hesitant at first kept going up to it and running away. But finally ate it.

May need to get a chiller. My tank temp was 82 this morning. Don't know why other than I have this thing covered to limit evap and the heat is entering from the pumps.

There are different ways to skin a cat but if the tank temp is high, evaporation is one way to lower it. If you have an ATO, why worry about limiting evap?
BTW, I missed it if you have any MH, with no MH, some pumps should not raise your temp that high, shoud they?

I do have an ATO. No MH so that's why I can't figure out why it was so high. Even my nano was 79.8 this morning but my house is 71. And the nano is open top with two fans.
