I think he was referring to gun laws. Not shooting anyone.
And I don't think he owes anyone an apology. If he wants to carry his gun (if it was legal), his permit, his Bible, and a rosary...it's not really anyone's business. Just as if someone wants to carry a Koran, it's not anyone's business.
And just my two cents but questioning someone Christainity, that's something I don't agree with.
He was referring to the debate about the right to bear arms...carry a gun. The SECOND AMENDMENT.

Okay: A Jew can carry Old Testament and the Torah.
It is still no one's business what another person carries to the polls.
I love my Jewish architects/friends.
I also love matzo ball soup.
Maybe I'll carry my coexist sticker.

Dave, I think that was a good idea to delete that post. Misinterpretations are very easy to come by on the internet. We've all been there before, my friend. It's an honest mistake. :)

I damn well want it my business if someone in my presence is carrying a gun. I want the choice to steer clear of someone who carries a serious threat to me or my family.
If someone has a license and is certified with a gun, it is my opinion that he/she should be able to carry it wherever it is LEGAL.
I carry my gun to most Construction sites and I don't think it's a threat to anyone.
The threats to me, are the illegal guns...the people who don't have a license.
That's not to say that people who have licenses aren't dangerous. But I think they're less dangerous than the people who are holding up banks and killing people.
Murders typically don't register their weapon. JMO.
You have no way of knowing who is carrying a gun legally or illegally around you.
That's just the way it is.

If it's a responsible gun owner with a CHL, you'll never know. And that's as it should be. Don't stay away from good people with guns. Stay away from bad people in general (with or without guns). They're not one and the same.

Guns are responsible for killing people much the way pencils are responsible for misspelling words.
