Yeah, we have photos of all the mess.  And the garbage bag full of wet shingles, tar paper, and nails we pulled out of the pond.

Btw: you may want to sweep your driveway with the magnet. I know everytime we had lawn maintance at our apartments I would end up with a nail in my tire. Not from Ike but from Rita. Just had a nail removed 2 weeks before Ike it and a few days after lawn maintance. Still finding shingles in the planted area's around the complex and I honestly believe that everytime they use those blowers on the schrubs nails fly out. Maybe we have nail schrubs.   After Rita we all got a new roof, it's been a mess ever since.

And now things have gone from bad to worse!  Those EDIT roofers!!  Now the EDIT pond has a EDIT puncture in it and all the EDIT water drained out under the EDIT liner!!

Guygeek went out to check on the koi, and all I heard was "Holy EDIT!" so I went out there and the pond was empty, I mean, EMPTY.  There was a tiny puddle where all the koi were laying on their sides barely in any water at all.  Guygeek ran and turned on the hose and I ran and got the nets.  He jumped in the pond and started scooping up the fish and I ran them in the house and dumped them in the 110g.  Thank GOD that tank was empty.  What we think happened was that the garbage that we pulled out of the pond was sealing the puncture that it made and after removing all that stuff, it opened up the hole and allowed the water to go under the liner.  So now, not only do the roofers have to deal with me, but guygeek is ready to put a hurtin' on them too.  

IT IS ON!!!

There are seven.  Six of them are still young...about 2 years old, so only about 8" each?  But the butterfly koi is large.  He's about 16".  I can't image they will do well in an aquarium...I mean, am I correct in thinking this?  Do they need extra filtration?  I know NOTHING about caring for koi in an aquarium!

I am not capable of using words to express my anger. Midnight diving into a pond to save my Koi and I am only thinking about returning the pain. It's probably best that I refrain from saying much more but I am frustrated, upset and hurt and I WILL have an outlet come Monday morning.
