And about the asian kid thing, I am I guess you could call a "asian kid of this century" and while I know my parents have good intentions, sometimes their old fashioned thinking gets in the way of realistic new-age-american thinking.

but seriously though I got a head start.....doing what I loved to do even as a kid....and have the "want" to be better.

Kids grow up too fast.
I'm 35, and you can really tell the difference in television programs and saturday morning cartoons at how different things are today than when I was a kid.
The kids today are so exposed to everything, that used to be somewhat sheltered when I was a kid. Look at the difference in Bratz Dolls vs. Barbie. I guess it all boils down to MTV. When MTV quit doing videos, it all went to the crapper.
