what he said. I either tie it to driftwood or bury just the roots and leave the thick rhizome above the substrate. otherwise it will rot.

I had buried the rhizome. Thank you for the tip. I will immediately move it!

Best not to bury the main rhizome portion. You can bury the smaller roots though. What I do is wedge the thick rhizome into a natural cranny in some driftwood, and let the roots go natural.

Question! Does Anubias Nana 'Petite' need to be attached to something or can it just go in the substrate?

Re: Low cost, Low maintenance Nano ideas?

Some more pics of the livestock. Some might be permanent.

I was messing with the scape a bit last night. Which do you like the best? I left the scape as #13 for now. I still have some more ideas in my head but I'm not at home to mess with the scape some more. Comments or suggestions welcomed!

I was so paranoid that I chunked him out. I found the third one. He was buried deep into the sand bed. Also picked up some nice manzanita driftwood from HAW and 3 masked cories for the heck of it. Got some Amano shrimp from Bikeguru that I'll be using to clean up all the bio-film on the glass temporarily.

Hahah I guess so! I don't think that he's in my canister though... I'll just keep an eye out for him

Well one of them is moving around now with the light on. Only fish are two molly fry that occupy the top of the water column. Also, one of them disappeared... I did a water change, but I didn't suck up the tylo. I can't find it anywhere lol

Well I knew they weren't dead. They'd peek out every now and then but wouldn't move

One of my Chocolate Tylos is actually moving around now after a water change! He moved from the substrate and clinged onto this empty shell I had for the molly fry.
