Got new livestock thanks to HiepSTA! Total count: 13 Blue Velvet Neos, 6 Green Striped Pencil Fish, 5 Psuedomugil Gertrudae, a bunch of assassin snails and nerites. These guys are pee wees and juvies so they're hidden amongst the plants. They like to chill in the background plants. I'll try to get some pics when I get home.

A bit stocked, but the filter can handle so much more! Loaded with matrix and stuffed a 100ml of magic beans. Still planning on getting a school of lampeyes and microrasbora kubotai to finish off the fauna and then the tank will be nearly complete. Still need some anubias nana petite, crypt wendtii, and some foreground plants. Background is complete.

Wiped out all the RCS (6) and about 5 pencil fish and 1 gertrudae. Didn't think too much about the amazonia, but damn that thing got to them. I've been doing 25% water changes everyday since I put the amazonia in. All the Amano shrimp, Corys, and O cats are fine so is the rest of the stock (4-5 pencil fish, 5 gertrudae, one straggler, nerites, and assassins).

The CPDs and Chili Rasboras right? I would get some, but tank is strictly blue or green colored fish. Guppies were temporary and now removed. They do look great though

I forgot what nano fish you have? It's gotta be blue or green

I'd like an adjustable one just as preference. 25w is perfect. I'm probably going to keep the temp at about 72 or 78. Not quite sure what yet

Haven't noticed any problems with the fish. They like it. I accidentally crushed one of the pencil fish somehow... The heater is temporary lol. My little heater isn't strong enough for a 5g while it's getting cold. It's internally set at 76 and its only 10w. I'll probably pick up that heater you're talking about. Are there any other small heaters that are about 15w and aren't preset to a temp?

Keep with the water changes, the amazonia is a beast with spikes on initial set up. Probably should have waited on stocking the tank.

Also that heater is hidious, PetsMart has the Marina heaters that are pretty cool, nano heater with an internally set thermostat set at 78f or 4deg above room temp and has a LED indicator lamp like the Fluval heater but in a smaller package. I have it on my Spec and love it. Hides well too.
