I see it as a "aqua gardening" project. I can see how one would be interested in making the leap from not only maintaining fish to creating an environment where fish come from. I like it, it's natural, soothing and reminds me of my younger days, swimming in a slow moving river with goggles on. Well done there partner. I feel another tank purchase down the road now....thanks...!!!
Truth is the cement that holds the bricks and stones of a sane and civilized society together. Remove the former and the latter will crumble.
the vesicularia is much nicer then xmas moss but it doesnt have the the triangular shape like xmas moss has....a really nice one is singapore moss but with the unknowledgeable people floating around who's to say you don't get the wrong stufff. I had to find out the hard way since I bought weeping moss from several members on APC and PT and since it was all jumbled together I could not tell....month later after it has filled in nicely I have two different types of moss in my tank and it looks foul! I will be re-doing the plants here shortly and will not be entering this go around in the AGA contest.
On a lighter note...I have new fishies for my tank since the boraras did not catch on that the tank is open top and hitting the floor usually ends in death.
They have colored up a lot since I got them yesterday.....
I fell in love with them long time ago when I saw them at village tropical but I didn't have a tank to put them in and they didn't last long. This time I had a tank but the inhabitants needed to be moved!
I got them at Fish Gallery for $4 ea. I bought most of them and left maybe three though.
