Where did you get yours from? Local or online? I ordered all of mine online as I couldn't find anyone that had any. What do you mean by shakey shake? Were they sick?
I heard some shop (dont remember who) had them at one point and they were selling for 12 or 13 EACH! Guess I got lucky, they were lots cheaper when I got mine.
I bought most of mine online but the rest I scored some deals around town to add some diversity if any. Shakey shake as in the "love dance". Almost all of mine were really skinny compared to what they are now. FishRanchII had some that were really expensive but right now Fish Gallery has some that are expensive as well for $9.99ea. 5/$45 10/$80 but they don't look like they will make it past a week but I did net two of the healthier prettier males to add to my little group cause I only got about 3-4 males with all the females.
That tank almost looks like it was CGI created. I've never seen a piece of wood like that and the light reflecting off of the back gives it an almost alian feel.
Do you have any plans for background plants or are you going to leave it open for that sunlight effect?

I actually have plants in the back that hasn't filled in yet or died off cause I let it dry up while scaping.
On your right there is a good amount of Rotala sp. Green, towards the center is Didiplis Diandra and replanted today on the left is Micranthemum Umbrosum.
I also planted E.Tennellus Micro which is a small sag looking plant but it gets bronze/red in hopes that it will sprout here and there in the foreground to give more texture off to the sides.
Updated picture..... removed the Rotala sp.green and the didiplis diandra...wouldn't grow like I want it and it didn't look like I had imagined. I will probably remove the Umbrosum too and replace the whole background with something finer.
I'm wondering about the didiplis...I had imagined it to have bigger/thicker leaves and be a bit more sturdy. Do you think the smaller leaves are just a product of different lighting conditions, or did yours change in appearance? My tank's certainly not as well equipped as yours, so you'd have a faster change. :)
The Didiplis looks like ludwiga brevipes or like a fine leaf rotala if you may which is what I got but just not red, at least that's the way it looks on apc's plantfinder.
You can't see it in my tank but in the Mini-M the leaves got a bit smaller but in my 30g it got really long and started shooting shoots out everywhere. I had a difiency problem in my 30g so there wasn't any Fe for the Didiplis to soak up but that is slowly changing and the Didiplis is starting to show.
