Power for me is back again -- power was out for about 1:15 but we are back and it looks good now.

It's been fairly quiet up to this point here in the cypress area.

Yeah what sucks is that the house 4 doors down had power thoughout my outage.
Reason is that we are on a new power grid and its just covering two roads.. this part was what went out.
Now its back and I hope it will not fail again. (praying hard)
Its windy here.. but nothing we havnt seen before. :)

over here off 290 and gessner, have had the lights flicker off 2-3 times but not off for a significant time....they came right back on....it's picking up as far as the winds though......stuff is flying around the area..trash and crud from dumpsters but no rain yet here....Comment

your welcome,
alot of people around the houston area not too far down the freeway have no power though....city pets area had lights go out awhile ago according to the news reports.....but there's just alot of wind in this area.....
i have been told by a friend that the power is out in kingwood though.....not sure where she lives out there but she has no power now.....Comment

We live at richmond ave. and beltway 8 and all we've had so far is some really hard wind and our cable/internet went out for 20 minutes. It is finally beginning to rain here just now...Hope all my fishy friends are safe....JuicyComment

At 12:05am it started to rain here. Looking at the news it will be another 30-45 minutes and another big band is going to hit us and then I am expecting the rain to start pouring down and not stop for a while
So far all good.. power is back for me and so far so good.
