Yes I have two current sat + and each have a censer as long as the remote is point at both it will control both. Sometimes its cool to set one on thunder storm mode and wait 10 sec or so and put the other one on thunderstorm mode so there not synced so you get more of natural looking storm over the tank.

LOL, that would freak them out big time. I accidentally did that one time, and I heard they were jetting out of control in the tank and banging against the glass.

If I buy 2 36" models of the current satellite plus, is there a way to connect both of them so I won't have to adjust both to match each others color?

I believe the remote will control both of them at the same time.

The lights are from Amazon, $15 a piece but they don't come with a plug. So I got an extension cord and an extra plug, and a friend wired them for me. The mount I built from wood at Home Depot. Overall cost was around $60
