This is from more than a year ago. Lost a couple of the small guys but my big guys(in the back of tank) are huge now. No like one has to be like 3 pounds at least

We used to feed them all kind of things. As babies they would love blood worms and if you want mosquito fish but don't get them hooked on live. Start them with pellets so soon they will be eating massivore pellets!

Love their personalities though! As soon as I walk into the room they stare and follow me from side to side. Even when I am watching TV they are staring at me! Lol

Trying to find see if anyone has some info on them in a real tank setting and not a holding cell at the LFS.

I will be having mine with my trophs and stuff so it might not get much food other than whatever small fry that's in the tank.

I was wondering if anyone has been buying these little Dats that have been showing up everywhere. They look cool a fawk and supposedly they grow super slow so keeping it long term would be easy.

I want to get one to throw into my Tropheus tank but not sure if I should or not.


For those that have bought any, what are you feeding, what are you keeping them with, etc.
