Well and that was the kicker. It wont work.... At least not for why I bought it. It will work on my 150 gallon however so, in the end it was a good buy.

I'm being torn on my scape. Having just finished one scape and immediately not liking it (didn't like it even as I was doing it), then coming up with something else I liked and having just bought all the stuff to do that scape, I'm starting to like the uncluttered look. After seeing beto's tanks in person and just looking at the pictures of tunedis95's tanks, I'm beginning to like that whole look. Heck, I'm changing my mind while half the stuff I got is still in the trunk of my car! Yikes!

well draw it out before you change to much. you may save yourself a headache.

I think I'm giving myself a headache already. To change the design would mean completely scrapping everything I just bought, buying new rocks, and having to get help putting the new rocks in.

On the other hand, the design would be very simple and incredibly easy to maintain.

I think I'll go forward with what I have now since I have it, and if I still want to change it after I finish my GRE exam and application into grad school, then I'll change things again then. Who knows, by then, maybe I'll consider getting a bigger tank! Maybe I can squeeze in a 6 footer if I try?

b, Sunny always reminds me that I have to enjoy this process. If stuff comes up and it ends up taking longer than expected, that's all part of the fun of it and will contribute to how awesome you feel in the end. :)
