No, it doesn't make a difference. They started doing that because people were buying the meds to use on themselves since it's the same med and cheaper than a human prescription.

I sure hope he gets better. It would be nice if he would eat though.

You could buy vitamins from Petsmart, or any vitamins from walgreens, cvs, etc and crush up the pills. What were you feeding him before? I'd assume he'd eat that. If he's eating algae wafers and vegetables, that's fine too. Just as long as he's eating.

Hmm... well if he's eating the wafers, I guess keep feeding him it. I have a lot of Vitamin C pills if you want to swing by and grab some. They're 1000mg pills though... So you'd have to use a little bit of it.

Vitamin C. It boosts the immune system.

You can call around to some fish stores to see if they carry Vitachem (freshwater). I have seen it at City Pets, but I'd call first. Here's a link to it on DrsFosterandSmith.com http://www.drsfostersmith.com/product/prod_display.cfm?pcatid=4998

The ulcers will heal if the antibiotic kills the bacteria. You don't need anything specifically for that.
