Purigen

i finally got around to installing the purigen bags that i bought during the petmountain sale. i have never been big on chemical filtration since i usually have plants but i must admit i am totally sold on purigen. since i always have driftwood inside there are always some tannins but i do 33% water changes and thought the water was clear. wrong! now its clear. and the plants look like i just replaced the lamps in the fixture above. even the shrimp seem to be more active. not that i ever doubted any of you, but seeing is believing and i will never run a tank without the stuff again.

I just bought a liter bottle from marinedepot for 50 bucks... That is the cheapest I have seen since the Dr. Foster and Smith sale.

I have never tryed Purigen. But everyone said its the best thing since glass for your aquarium. People are fighting over old used Purigen. like its crack.
I need to try this stuff.
