Chemipure is different, its not synthetic like purigen.

we use this in most of our tanks at work...This stuff is known as "white gold" around the shop. high concentrations will shorten the lifespan of the Purigen. I have found that after bleaching it only takes about half the time till its solid brown again. Wait till you use it on a tank that feeds only Tetra ColorBits(Discus tanks)...It turns bright pink. crazy to think that would be in your water otherwise.

Haha so true... use this stuff with peat too and watch what happens! The purigen gets almost black.

How does the panty hose not disintegrate when you bleach? I had to go buy "the Bag", which turned out to be pretty awesome and durable against bleaching.

I never regenerated before so I wouldn't know. The stuff I gave you was bagged in the fine mesh bags from drsfoster. The purigen I have in pantyhose right now hasn't been bleached. Kiko did his and just poured it into a bowl and bleached that way

Ohhh, I just leave mine in the bag and bleach. Those little granules are frikkin annoying to gather up!

That's why I prefer the 100ml bags, drsfooster usually has a 3pk on sale, well they did back then which is why I would just buy new
