At one point I kept buffalo heads with my tangs, only problem I see with them was that they weren't as aggressive eaters compared to other tangs.

I like the breeding and hooking us up part. :) haha. Can the "buffalo head" cichlid be kept with tropheus?

Agreed, I was at a loss for the type/location and just gave it up eventually. Ours will shift fairly heavily depending on their location (on a darker rock they'll get almost black and on the white sand they'll nearly wash out) and which one it is as the male is generally much lighter in his body coloration. I have looked them over and tried to spot exactly they are online, but if you can come up with what you think they might be let me know, lol. Hoping they'll breed soon and I can hook everyone up...

Why I don't trust LFS labels, sigh. Your have a pretty nice set of yellow barring. Zambian or "blue spot" are known for the lack of.

Do you remember what yours was labeled as?

I really love the predominant yellow barring of Mkombe or Mpimbwe

Their gobies are not too crazy priced, they have a breeder pair in the store and occasionally sell off the offspring. I think they were under $20 a piece when we got our pair. I want to say $18 a piece, but not totally sure. Just call and see, they have a few different variaties and the WC are a lot more. There are pics of our pair in the Spring Tank Tour photos

    Northside, 2920.

They use to be the only place you could get Tanganyikans.
I might be doing an order through Dave's Rare Fish, he has some listed along with the spathodus/tanganicodus.

most LFS have them, I just want specific ones and LFS usually don't label collection points.
