At the store he ate two cocktail shrimp, one mystery snail. Earlier he had a whole tiger prawn and so far I counted 3 nerite snails and part of a neothauma shell that a brevis was hiding in.

Snoop is slowly exploring the tank and not as super active as I would like but I do think he's an awesome addition to the tank thus far. He's actually really lazy, eats/sleeps and shiiits.

He has manage to show me he was active last night by robbing the shellies of their home though and piling it up where he nest.

I know there are machrobranchium species in the lake and I bet a tropheus would not pass an oppertunity to snatch it easily in the wild

Idunno about something like that but will say there are tons of inverts that are probably ingested while grazing. those macro shrimp are lobster size!

Dianichi is good stuff I like to mix Dianich with my NLS, it makes me more comfortable feeding to my fish knowing they got a nice meal.

i dont feed my fish cheap food. hahah i wouldnt feed myself trash so why feed your fish trash lol i have dainichi fx right now for them.

Why would it?

I've fed tropheus way worse.... and if there wasn't so many single minded people on here quick to pass judgement I'd post vids. Shrimp isn't a problem seeing as though there are some people that feed shrimpmix as their staple. also NLS isn't veggie base... there's meat products in it. auwfuch, which is their natural staple has micro organisms which consist of meat or non vegetable matter.

What are you feeding your fish?

I would imagine that cheap dry foods that contain a ton of fillers like wheat meal/yeast/etc. is completely worse than some plain tiger shrimp.

Nobody seems to pay this guy any mind. the actually swim around him to avoid his attack zone and even if I dump food right in his area they just wait till the food blows away from him.

Madugo use to keep tropheus and Petros with his MBU puffer.

He had to move the petro out out bc it was nipping at the puffer's fins.
