any luck yet? What else can you put with these fish? Are they as aggressive at Trophs or Petros? Do they breed the same way? I would go look it up but I'm too lazy.

Mike is looking into them now.

I have no idea how they act or breed. I figure they are more like simos and not so much like petros.

Very little info on them out there.

Thats cool. I've really gotten hooked on finding really rare fish. I'm really getting hooked on all different kinds of featherfins. Do you buy the Curvifrons in the same quantities as Trophs? I know I keep comparing them to Trophs, but they remind me alot of them. I hope it works out for you.

Yeah, if I had to take a guess then they are a lot like tropheus.

            I'm get at least 30.

            I also love rare fish!

So, some people on another forum help he find some info on these fish.

In short this was stated, "I believe I read a quick blurb about them in one of Ad Konning's books. I believe he said they were nearly impossible to keep due to aggression levels and that they were totally unsuited for keeping in the aquarium. I'm going by memory though and I'll confirm it tonight. I've always been curious about these guys - very interesting looking fish and I love their shape and subtle colours. Its the first time I've ever seen them on a fish list. Maybe someone with a really big tank can give these guys a go but I suspect anything smaller than a 180 is going to have a tough time."

              I MUST have them now!

Additional info can be found here: http://trophs.com/forums/index.php?s...urvifrons&st=0

Thanks for keeping an eye out!

I have not contacted them. I did see their list before. I just figured it was a list of fish and not really what they have in stock.

                          They also list:

                          Petrochromis sp. "Red"
                          Petrochromis sp. "Red" (Bulu Point)
                          Petrochromis sp. "Red" (Lugala Point)
                          Petrochromis sp. "Red" (Mpimbwe)

This is the reason why I kind of just dismissed them.

Very nice looking fish to me!

I'm interested as to how aggressive they actually are.
