Also welcome to the forum. Where are you from?
Thank you, I'm a german living in Vancouver/Canada. I did speak with several people from Germany in regards to this specie but "apparently" there isn't much demand.

You guys have a great group of people in the hobby.

I had some great support from some very nice people donating pictures. Takes time to build up the library but hopefully it will be a good resource for cichlid hobbyists. :) Thank you!!

Thought I should give you guys an update. I just got of the phone with Marco Welss out of Germany. He is a breeder of rare Victorian Cichlids and is supplying several german importers with Cichlids. He was kind enough to get in contact with some of the largest Tanganyikan importers in Germany. Pseudosimochromis Curvifrons are not on any of the availability lists. They would have to order them and the wait time is roughly 6-9 months.

I told him I would be interested. Minimum order would be 5 boxes (mixed species). Shipping would be around 800 euro - $1080 U.S. dollars. If somebody is interested in a group order here is the full stocklist

One Area. So, I probably would let them ship to to the area where the most order came from and ship the rest out to the other people.

                        Pseudosimochromis curvifrons

Quick update and very good news:
I have received an email today from somebody out of eastern europe confirming the fish is on the availability list. It is not the northern blue variant (which I would have preferred). Collection point would be Zambia and would look like the pictures i have posted on CichlidExplorer.

The email didn't mention when I would be able to get them nor how much they would cost. I will contact the importer in Canada and see if they can bring them in with the next order, otherwise I will have them shipped to Germany and try to figure out a way to get them to North America.

                              Namansi would go first.

As much as I love them....these curvifrons got my attentions!

I might consider waiting on the northern collection.

they don't have permits to collect in the northern part. :(
