That wave vid was just playing with it.

It's normally on Reefcrest simulation mode which is an alternate flow.

iwas going to agree with zulaab but i will take your word for it. i was going to suggest have one pump at 90 and the other at 60 alternating so that one wave is bigger but ya. cant wait to see more videos. you are the master

Wait till you see how they start acting when the pumps get going.... you will quickly change your mind and then question how you are going to fix your trophs!

They graze in a group/colony now and with the flow they alter their tails back and forth with the wave like swinging their tails back and forth.

Also I have notice a lot more heavy grazing now like watching a field of cows all day!

Also with the wave/reefcrest mode they school back and forth with the waves/current which is an amazing sight to see.

Pretty damn awesome.. but I am thinking this is way to much like being at the shore, and I am not sure that the fish are used to that :) :) :) Man it looks awesome.. that is all I can say... WOW.. the best I can say

Finally got around to programming the two Vortechs so now they are communicating with each other.


Surface agitation with only the two Mp40w's running at 70% on Reefcrest random mode.


Wave action with only the two Mp40w's running at 90% on Short pulse mode.

Yeah the rocks and algae along with everything else has made the Ilangi's take on a new "survival" color or camoflouge.

I don't mind it really since the overall look of things is to my liking and I know what they can or have looked like before so it's nothing to me to not see them like so. To others it is a sight to see of course and really shows off the reputation of "Ilangi" well.
