40g troph tank progression

Dubs are the most laid back Tropheus. They are entry level for most because it is the "gem" in my opinion of Tropheus.

There is no other Tropheus where the fry change and transform so drastically...there is so much difference between Duboisi and other Tropheus that it has been thought,...Duboisi deserve to be their own genus.

Regardless of all that, I kept a pair of Duboisi with 6 Rutunga in a 55 without a problem.

Duboisi can stay in smaller groups without the agression problems. The magic number for them seems to be 8.

no way the heterospecifics won't affect the trophs. i have gobies in with my kachese. but my tank is a 125G.
