I wish I could take a picture of my tank right now, but until the christmas tree goes down there will be no such thing. Come Late Dec / Early Jan I will take a picture of my reef style land scape in my 180. I have many males taking up small portions of it because they cannot seem to get a place so they dig a hole in the sand where they attempt to bring in the ladies.. I have a solid unbroken line and I have 4 or 5 males holding it down. As I have said in other posts I have between 7-9 males in that tank.

With as many fish as you have I would recommend a 180 or at least the 135 you have eyed out.

      http://atlanta.craigslist.org/nat/for/1508509203.html -- Marietta, GA -- 300g tank (looks like a Oceanic 210) 7ft tank -- $350.
This would be perfect for you. Just need to reseal it and you are in business...

If everything goes as planned and I can get a couple of my guy buddies to go thru with it, I should have that 135 (Oceanic) on Sunday. Which makes me feel better. I don't like seeing those fish crammed into such a small tank . They're good sports about it-spawning and eating and not kicking the sizzle outta each other but...it's not right.

              Bill,

See the post MB posted above. She was euthanized to ensure that she would not be torn up or anything else for when a marine biologist can take a look at her.

              Thanks
              Jesper

... and yes she is still in the freezer waiting.... MB is supposed to when she has some time to look into seeing if with her connections she can find a marine biologist.

Jenny get a tumbler. Or next time you strip and get fry that need to be tumbled drop momma back in the buket. She will pick the eggs back up most of the time. Congrates on the new tank. Can someone local help me ship these fiery fry to her after the first of the year. I don't have a clue how to do this.

YOu pack them in breathable bags, and wrap in news paper with styrofoam liner and some type of tank buddies. Put ina box and take to UPS to overnight straight to my addy. Or FedEx.
My fellow club members gave advice. Here's the link. Because if they get shipped to airport adn I need to get them I think it turns into a hassle.

bag buddy with silverside fish.. and they will arrive DEAD.
I have 2 of 5 die in a bag on a 2.5 hour transport with a bag buddy. Then I moved 39 without bag buddy and all 39 survived.

Later learned that Cyps/Xeno's etc.... dont ship them with Bag buddies.

UPS and FedEx over night is also more expensive then going with cargo. If you are going to pay for shipping and don't mind the increase cost then it's a none issue.

If he does cargo, do I have to go to the airport to pick them up? If so, I would much rather pay the extra 30 bux and not have to spend 3 hours driving, parking and picking up.

yes you'd have to go to the airport but the difference in price would probably be more like $50-60 in shipping. when you go to the airport you don't actually go in the airport but a cargo pick-up area outside the airport in a seperate building, at least thats how it is in houston.
