I would get a 2262 and then keep either 1-2217 or 1-110. Use them as a polisher and clean at every other waterchange. Clean the 2262 about every 3-4 months
I dont know how long you run your lights, but I bet that you will not need a heater. Even tanks Ihave that are directly under a ceiling fan and under a AC outlet the tank in all months of the year except DEC-MAR stay over 76 and up to 81. Heaters not really needed, especially with that kind of filtration. The heat of filtration will also help with water temp, especially on the 2262.380G For Sale $3000 Acrylic tank & stand

I say keep them as they are!
Probably ditch the heaters and the multiple filters for a few big filters like your brother said.
I would keep the powerheads! With a pleasing amount of rocks and the amount of fish the powerheads will keep everyone happy and the tank looking spotless!700g Mini-Monster tank
