June 28 HLA meeting/mini auction @ Fish Ranch

    Howdy,

    I will be there and think Bob Kruckberg was going to ride with me, he talked about bringing water lillies and other plants.  Will give Max a call and think Bob Baker was talking about going.  Charles and Susan Clapsaddle will be there and will bring about 15 pairs of fish.  Some one should check with Diego and see if he needs a ride becasue he has nice guppies that he usually brings.

    Some suggested agenda items:

    -name change

    -regional clubs

    -collecting trip

    -shows

    -GTAH

          I think I made them wide enough for wheelchair access....it will be the first test though.

            Howdy Bob, it will be good to see you at the HLA meeting and look at your NEW wheels!  From what I could remember the isles were wide!

            Charles, could you save a parking spot in front of your shop for Bob?

            Talked with Max last night and he will be there.  

            Should be a good meeting and mini auction!  HOPE to see some HFB folks there.  later, ken

              Ken,
              I am planning on taking HWY6 to Alvin, HWY35 south to FM1462 (down by the college), FM1462 west from Alvin to HWY36 &  HWY36 North to Rosenberg   ]

              If you haven't been that way before, it's a fun drive in the country.  May be a bit longer but you miss all the Houston Traffic & Toll Roads

                That's the way I go Fish Ranch except that I start on FM517.  It beats the Houston traffic and is more relaxing!  sunrise

                            Well an auffle lot of people made it there (152mile round trip for me) Good to see so many people  
                            The quick buisness meeting took longer than expected ~ because we had a lot of interested people.  Good to see so much interest.
                            The mini-auction took forever because of the many things everyone brought.   Boy did I get some great fish & stuff.

                            NICE STORE CHARLES !  I also bought some mature Pearl Gouramis while I was there (great price-thanks Charles)
                            For those of you who haven't been there yet, there is a great selection of inexpensive young fish in verry clean tanks and a lot of Sicklids.
