I guess you didn't read the post...I am in the livestock section, and I don't release fish...except into a pond, which I don't want to.

My post was made because of the above quote; the suggestion that you should release them into a "park". Several of us attended a symposium last year about this very subject at U of H. The US Fish and Game is looking at severely restricting species which can be imported due to people releasing non-natives into our habitats. Not only does this damage the ecosystems but could impact what you and the rest of us are allowed to buy and house in our glass boxes. Releasing non-natives into any system, including ponds which can be inundated and overflow into rivers and bayous, should be discouraged...regardless of how many times someone has already done it.

I talked with Greg last night and there will be no releasing into parks. i will be adopting them...crisis averted...we can now resume our regularly scheduled programming
