Is it ok to post other than meeting chat here? I want to let GHACers know something fish related...I am such a rule follower.

I have 4 plecos I need to rehome...a nice looking Brown Common (4-5"), 2 Yellow Spotted , one (4-5")and one (3-4"), and an Albino Chocolate (3-4").I'm going away to another state, and will sell my 75 and give my 29 to a fishkeeping noob family next door. I wanted to trade for some Cardinal Tetras or anything small and colorful (there's a small child in the family) but prefer to get the Plecos a home before I move. That's 2 weeks or so, but I need to sell the 75 and can't keep the plecos in the 29. Need to rehome asap, trade or not.
          (pics in sale/trade livestock thread.)
As the Fly said at the movie's end..."Help... me."

I raised these all from small guys...they are nice and have great fins, etc. So I would prefer someone have them in a tank. I only have a motorcycle, no car, so transporting is not a good idea, and I live far from anywhere to release them except the bayou...I prefer to hope someone will take them in.

I forgot to mention...I have a solitary Jewel Cichlid that comes with them I've had for 3 years.

Please don't release non-natives. Plecs and other species have infested some of our waterways and doing some serious damage. You may try posting in the Free Stuff section of the forum.

What are the facts? Again and again and again--what are the facts? Shun wishful thinking, ignore devine revelation, forget what "the stars foretell", avoid opinion, care not what the neighbors think, never mind the unguessable "verdict of history"--what are the facts, and to how many decimal places? You pilot always into an unknown future; facts are your only clue.

I guess you didn't read the post...I am in the livestock section, and I don't release fish...except into a pond, which I don't want to.

All plecos are non-native.... They are from South America. Common plecos in our waterways are a result of people releasing them.

Exactly...aside from my not releasing aquarium raised into local waterways, if there was a massive release of 4 plecos into the already inhabited by Common Plecos bayou system how bad would that be? Deed been done...I am as concerned with aquarium virus' and bacteria/germs that could start killing non exposed fish in the waterways. I've heard about 2 and 3 foot sightings of Commons near the Med Center ...Moby Pleco. So...someone adopt my 4 plecos and Jewel Cichlid asap or ...(dum dum dum):)

Philbert I will PM you. I may be able to adopt some of them, but probably do not have room for all of them. I will give you a description of the two tanks I am thinking of in my home....if you think they would be a good fit
