    1) What are the odds of fish making it back to Corpus Christi alive? I can rig up coolers and air stones for them. We're talking plecos and african cichlids.
    2) Anyone else from Corpus or Victoria interested in going? I have a truck that seats 4. I can also contribute to gas expense if someone else is driving.

    Thanks

bucket and battery powered air stone will keeps them alive for a very long time when i moved up here i had about 15-20 trophs in a bucket for about 13hrs no problems. i have some extra buckets and air pumps if you need. you should check it out the auctions are awesome and you can get some good stuff. im not going to this one....just went to houston last week.... geoff we have met.

I bring them home from Houston to Baton Rouge with no breather bags or anything, I usually have them in buckets , bags, or coolers. And that's it

They should be fine. Bucket bubblers, extra water....5 gal of your water for rebagging purposes. This is ususlly what I do....I bag everyone like I was going to ship them, and then if I see any issues with anyone, I can rebag with new water. I live about 3-4 hours from houston, and I bring and buy fish...and have not had any issues. If you need help...just ask...I even have some breather bags if you are worrying about bring fish home....we can bag them in the breather bags, and they will be fine for up to three days in the bags.

If you pack them right or put them in a cooler or bucket with air then they should be fine

I like the one in your avatar - it reminds me of the Nightmare Before Christmas.

If y'all want to have a GHAC volunteer "meeting" ... that is cool. Everything will be like last time ... but if want want an excuse to get pizza and shoot the breeze ... so be it! I'm always down... y'all can come over whenever you want (as long as I'm home).
