Well, here's the latest.....The store will open on Sunday, according to Jon, the new owner. I met him and his brother today, and they tell me they plan to have the freshwater section along with the birds and other pets ready by this Sunday. The salt water section is still under construction but they will have live rock available if anyone is interested in going by to check it out.
I mentioned the HOUSTON FISH BOX to them (Jon & Jonny, his brother) and they intend to take a look at our comments to see what fish we would like to see them carry and our general comments about them and their new shop. If anyone would like to see a certain type of fish at their store, maybe you could write it down here on this thread for them, or take them a list of fish you like and or supplies your interested in.
They both seem like really nice guys, I get a good feeling about them, hopefully they will do well with the new Aquatic World.
Their aware of the previous owners reputation and are promising much better customer service, and I believe they will too.

well, i just got back from the new aquatic world. its coming along nicely. i talked to the owner and he said they are opening tomarrow i picked up the leleupi that CF saw , really nice big male that dont have very much right now, but they are just now opening. it seems like they have good potential.

John always carried some oddballs back at global... seen trophs and calvus there before a lot of the others carried them.

i didnt see her , she might have been in the koi/pond fish area , their was alot of work going on out there.
