    Re: Village Tropical Fish

Don and Steve will both be at village now... what a combination. It was that way for a long time before, those are the only two guys working at lfs in the area that I have ever taken christmas presents to thank them for their constant outstanding knowledge and service. They will tell you what they know and unlike a lot of others will tell you when they do not know, and will try to help you find out what you need to know..
Roger needs to raise both their salaries and leave them alone.....

you are right on the $$$$$ part and the latter.  It is very hard to find quality folks like these 2.  I like Village and don't mind paying the $$$ either.

This decision just raised their stock in my book!

Went by the new location today. About 75% of the freshwater tanks have water with fish. Everyone was very busy getting everything setup. The 4000 gallon is setup just cycling with some small fish in it. It does look amazing.

They are saying it should be open around March 15.
It does look like they will open on March 15.

Apparently the new location is opening about five minutes from my school! I pass by it every morning and I'm really exited that it'll actually be opening next week! I can't wait!

PS I'm new here! I'm going to be setting up a 29 gal betta girl sorority tank soon! I'll make sure to post all about it here!

                  Re: Village Tropical Fish

I just got an email from them saying they're going to have a 4500 gallon tank, is this true?  They mentioned it was going to be like 20 feet long.

So are they officially open yet?  or is this just the "warning shot" before the full fish war commences?!
