I went by the new place about 2 weeks ago and they were landscaping the outside and the company that is putting in all the tanks had several vehicles there working. Just looking through the windows from the car it looked like they still had a ways to go and I doubted their opening date then.

Their tanks were all 15% off and they had about 8 tanks of fish that were buy one get one free. The complete show tanks with livestock were also 15% off, but other than that is was business as usual. They also had several empty stock tanks, not sure if they were just sold out and waiting on an order, or if they are trying to slim down before the move. They did have a great selection of plants on Wednesday though.

yes, you are correct!!!! these guys offer a pvc bottom.........supposed to be better than glass to protect again cracks that may result from rocks falling. Also these guys can bond acrylic to glass so your top support can be acrylic. They also offer the low-lead staphire glass. I think you can also get the pvc on the back portion of the tank as well.
Lots of saltwater reefers are getting these folks to make their custom tanks. We are lucky to have them here in Houston. Now all I have to do is start saving my pennies!!!!!!!! LOL

The staff in VT is real nice. They got the most naturally red, blood parrots that I have seen. I just wish they had some with the more profound blood parrot characteristics. Hopefully they will get some new parrots when they open in their new location.
Spent some time at Village tonight..Omar says mid March for a move date. No Moving Sale is planned but they arent ordering anymore and will sell as much as they can before the move. I suspect that you will be able to bargain for a better price.
Also, the rumours are true..Don is returning to Village and will be onsite at the new Kirby location. Sounds like everyone at Village is glad to have him back. Missed him when he left Fish Ranch several months back and I am glad he is back in the local Fish retail scene.
Don is A-1!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! One of the nicest fish guys I've met.
