Here's how i built my canopy for my 75 gallon. It's basic and simple for $30. If you need it taller to fit lights then substitute 1x8 for 1x6. Like i said, it's cheap and basic. Just make sure you measure the rim of the tank and how much clearance you need for lights. shopping list includes (1) 6' of 1x2 plank (2) 6' of 1x6 plank (1) 10' of 1x12 plank The diagram says 1x10 (my mistake but its 1x12) (2) reg hinges (2) cedar chest hinges screws This is for 75 gallons. Heres my recipe for DIY Live rock. ROCK INGREDIENTS: 2 parts portland cement (90lbs bags at hardware store) 3 parts crushed oyster shell (can get small bags at feed stores. they use it to feed chickens) 1-2 parts rock salt (40lbs bags at hardware store. look for water softener isle) MIX IN LAST JUST B4 POURING INTO MOLD You can add more or less rock salt to change texture. This brine shrimp hatchery consists of a rack made from 1x6 pine, three bubblers and 3 empty rum bottles (1.75 liter) with the bottom cut off and the cap screwed on tight. The bottles sit on a shelf with the bottleneck inserted through a retaining hole in the shelf. Disposable bowl covers are provided as a splashguard.

It tumbles black eyed peas pretty good.
1. Cut the bottom out with a 1" lip.
2. Cut a circular piece of plastic canvas so it could be inserted inside and glued.a. About 1" into the bottle.b. Used that new gorilla super glue. It is thick and dry's rubbery.3.
