Oh....even if I were to consider fixing it for someone else, I would have to see it first before even trying to think about setting a price. It would probably take four people to even be able to maneuver one of the sides when loose to fix it properly. And I would scrape every little bit of silicone off and redo it from scratch. This part would take an undetermined amount of time (and razor blades!) until I see what the silicone is like. it's a pretty major undertaking.

Well...it has to be taken completely apart...all the silicone has to be removed, including what was on each edge....each piece needs to be cleaned, both sides...and on a tank that large each step will take several people...we once built a 300 at an HAS meeting

We've resealed 2 - 210g tanks and didn't take them all apart...is there something else about these that makes them unfixable?

It depends on how old the silicone is and how well the tank was made to begin with. The best way is to take it all apart. And with 1000 gallons of water set to run all over the living room (and likely everywhere else) I would definitely do it the best way I know how.

I have a 2 car garage I can use. 1 car has to remain but can be pulled out to get work done.

I worry though that my uneven garage floor wouldn't not support the BIG tanks weight evenly and could crack them.

How many people does it take to move a 1000 gallon, 2000 lb tank? I don't have enough friends
