i added 1 reply saying its not that hard to ship and your on my a** over it.im not affending anyone so quit offending me.ill say what i want, when i want.
well to start with fronts and other fish are alot more forgiving than trophs or petros. I would love to ship but dont realy want to mess with it. I rather get take a beating and have someone come get them thean try to ship. sorry
There is no "normal" life, it's just life so get on with it.
thats fine chris, what is the other guys problem.i was just adding my 2 cents worth.i understand you dont want to ship, and thats cool, but there was other people who was chiming in and i was just responding to what they said.like jeff_tropheus said he was working on shipping.its cool.
second not to be a pain in your butt...but it was clear that he didn't want to ship. hobby to hobby shipping of petros and trophs are rare.Even here we don't ship but drive to pick them up. additional shipping would high since the best way to shipped the petros is airport to airport.
and the petros are a nice size and would cost a min of 60 dollars to ship airport to airport.
there was more than one person that replied.i shipped 18 tropheus ikolas from ohio to california,no issues at all.shipping was 72.00 and he picked them up from the airport the same day i shipped them.the box weighed 22 lbs.and it still was only 72.00.so really i dont think you know it all.60.00 is not expensive at all.im a known shipper with southwest so i do know a little about it.
I was going to try and get a Southwest account once. A friend here in this forum told me it was not that hard to do, but it takes MAKING time to get it done.
I'm a single dad, working my *** off for a POS Chemical company, with little free time.
So, when I make time, I usually make it for friends and family, and not so much going and getting an account with Southwest.
BUT...I want to do this, because I do feel the only way to really safely ship Tropheus is Direct Airport to Airport. Overnight is risky, and 2-Day can be almost on the verge of disaster.
Alex at Ultimate Fish here in Houston, once told me they lost a shipment direct from Afirca for over a week. When they finally found it, he had to go to Dallas to get it, and out of 14 boxes of fish, only the Petros and Tropheus were mostly alive.
Everything else was dead.
So, no I will not ship now. I definately prefer local pickup ovedr anything else, but if I was to ship, airport to airport is the only way I would go and feel right about it.

read my post I said a min of 60 dollars for the petros which four would take a large box due to size, but you are so right.how dare a simpleton like me question your skills regarding shipping fish and how much shipping cost is.
I wish I could attain the shipping status that you have reach in shipping very sensitive and exotic fish
