Well I have lots of tanks and have purchased and sold the same.   I am not forcing anyone to buy anything. You made your offer and I thought that it was not reasonable. Didn’t get offended one bit. I don’t expect anything to fly off the shelf by all means.  I have done more used sales on eBay and other avenues then most people make in a lifetime. I know how to research and how to sell. There are some very good deals that come up all the time.  This may or may not be one of them in your opinion.  Yes that is all it is..... your opinion.  You show me links to other tanks that are comparable to this 110 out there and show me how over priced it is and I will be happy to lower the price. Again this isn’t my first rodeo.  On another note...I am not out to sucker someone or pull the sheet over someone’s head. I try to think of my reputation here and what the impact would be if I pulled that Sh$T. I have even gone way and out of my way to be fair with the sales that I have completed and the people that have stopped by.  

Just like in the last post...it’s not killing me to sell and have the time to sit on it.  There will always be someone like me who will pay whatever (maybe a sucker in your mind) right then because they want it.  When I want something, I want it right then. I have been fortunate enough to have enough disposable income to have that attitude.

I vouch for TxFatcat, he is a good guy! He wouldnt sell a tank or anything that is under quality....
By the way looking at your small tanks if you still have them....

Personally, I don't get insulted when people lowball even when it's insulting.  Sometimes I make lowball offers just to get the wheels rolling.  It's just business.

Anyone that says all used tanks are worth no more than $1.00-1.50 a gal. Does not know anything about the used tank market!!  To say that a 210 Oceanic is worth the same as a AGA  is just B/S.  If those people have any Oceanic ar Acrylic tanks  for sale for a $1.00 a gal. please post them.  This is just M/O and not intended to offend anyone.

Well I sold the 110 as a complete system to a very nice lady and her son.  She had become frustrated and was going to pay full retail to get the same tank. I made her a wonderful deal and have keep wet dry running as to keep the bacteria alive.   I also offered to deliver it to her and help set it up and start them with some guidance. I also directed her to a number of the quality LFSs in the area and this board.  I didn’t jack her over and got the price that I thought was “fair” for both of us. My goal is to help them get started the right way as not to waste money and then get frustrated.  


Just like I said in a previous post.  Show me that the prices are too high and I will lower them

I might be interested in the 29, and I am definitely interested if you have a stand.  I am not sure how to find out your location though.  I am in south west houston.

Is the 29 gallon set up black or is it the oak color?  Anything else with it....lid, lights?
