Besides my puffer they were my favorite fish. It was funny seeing the watchman keep an eye out while the shrimp is taking load after load of sand out of a burrow. So industrious!

I know Chris told me about them. I have been studying up on them ever since lol

I am thinking about setting up a tank just for a goby and pistol shrimp lol

Thats how he murders shrimps. It fires its pistol (the giant claw) and the shock waves stuns any shrimp in its line of fire. Then it goes up to them and starts eating it.
