no more buying corals for me for a while. I think I have enough.... gotta cool it with the spending for a while. Imma redo my whole sump setup sunday or over thanksgiving. Imma put down a plastic liner, clean my sump, clean my skimmer, set up the zeovit reactor.
And go buy a shelf to put all my junk in. My gf complaining about too much fish junk all over the house.
Or is that too ghetto? I was thinking about putting the a few 10 gallons tanks in there and setting up some cultures. I have a bucket full of chaeto thats been sitting there for a month or so. Just looked at it last night and had a ton of pods n junk running around.
I bought a bottle of trigger pods a few months ago.... glad to see they multiplied like crazy. I see them everywhere in the bucket.
Brian - I went with a doser on tank this size. For a 90, CalcRx is cheaper long term. But i heard it can be a ***** to set up. 2 part bailing is kinda dummy proof. Everything is exact.
What are you planning to keep? Tangs and angels? You prob won't need a CaRX right off the bat. Keep it simple with two part and kalkwasser until your corals demand more to keep up.
Dwarf angels might still nip. My next tank might be a "Tampa bay liverock". Set up. I really like how those tanks look. Check out "d2mini" 130g rimless.
